Tuesdays are reserved for development days, where players will train with their age groups under the guidance of Coach Brandon and other league coaches. Each session is designed to feel like a one-hour basketball camp focused on improving skills, confidence, and game knowledge. Practice days are optional for kids, but are highly encouraged.Grades K-2 will meet 5:30 - 6:30 PM each Tuesday, and 3-5 will meet 6:45 - 7:45 PM each Tuesday.Thursdays are game days, allowing players to apply what they learned during Tuesday's development sessions in a game setting.

All gamedays will be on Thursday nights. A complete schedule with specific times will be announced after registration ends, but times will be in the evening from 5:30 PM for the younger grades to 8 PM for older grades.

We understand that parents and guardians have busy schedules, and attending every Tuesday practice may not always be possible. While Tuesday development sessions are optional, we encourage players to attend whenever they can so they can continue building their skills and help create the best experience for themselves and their teammates.

Will there be spectator fees?

Accepted Answer

For practice days: No, but we ask that everyone be respectful and remember that The Rec will remain open to members during practice times. Unsupervised children are not permitted. Individuals without a membership may not use the facility. These rules will be heavily enforced.Spectator fees apply this year only on game days for people who are NOT members of The Rec or not volunteering as a coach. Price of spectator is $3. You can visit demotteconnection.com/memberships to see if the price for one month is cheaper than paying spectator fees for the season. Kids 5 and under are not charged spectator fees. We simply ask that they remain with a supervising adult at all times and stay off the track and out of the workout rooms, as The Rec will still be open for members during this time.
